Role Summary: Consultant / Operator

Adara is expanding its delivery team and seeking
Consultants / Operators
who can take
end-to-end responsibility for client projects
, from discovery to delivery.

We're inviting
ex-consultants and startup professionals
who love working close to founders, can manage clients independently, and enjoy turning ideas into real outcomes.

You'll work directly with Adara's founding partners and CXO-level clients, leading problem-solving, execution, and measurable impact. Over time, strong performers may transition into
venture leadership or equity-linked roles
within Adara's projects and portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of assigned client projects—from scoping and planning to delivery and measurable results.
  • Lead day-to-day client interactions and ensure smooth communication, alignment, and execution.
  • Structure strategic problems, conduct research and analysis, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Drive implementation—coordinate across client teams, Adara partners, and expert collaborators.
  • Prepare and deliver client-ready presentations, analyses, and progress updates.
  • Support business development—assist in proposal preparation, thought pieces, and opportunity identification.
  • Contribute to Adara's venture-building initiatives—research, model, and validate new venture ideas.
  • Build internal knowledge assets, frameworks, and best practices for delivery excellence.

Qualifications

  • 2–8 years
    of experience in
    strategy consulting, startup operations, corporate strategy, or VC/PE
    .
  • MBA from a leading business school (ISB, IIMs, INSEAD, Kellogg, Booth, etc.) preferred, though not mandatory for exceptional operators. (BTech from IIT/NIT may also work)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and client management ability—comfortable interfacing with CXOs and founders.
  • High ownership mindset—can independently manage workstreams with limited supervision.
  • Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
