Job Title: Production Supervisor (Fabrication)

Job Purpose:

The Production Supervisor (Fabrication) will be responsible for supervising daily production activities, managing a team of operators and welders, ensuring quality and timely delivery of fabricated components, and maintaining safety standards within the plant/workshop.

Experience Required: 3 – 8 years in production & fabrication industry

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, supervise, and execute daily fabrication production schedules.
  • Allocate tasks to welders, fabricators, machine operators, and helpers.
  • Ensure adherence to drawings, process specifications, and quality standards.
  • Monitor material availability and coordinate with stores/purchase for requirements.
  • Supervise welding, cutting, bending, fitting, and assembly processes.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer and company standards.
  • Identify process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
  • Maintain production records, daily reports, and shift handovers.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Train, guide, and motivate team members to achieve production targets.

Skills & Competencies Required:

  • Strong knowledge of fabrication processes (welding, cutting, bending, fitting, machining).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with production planning and resource allocation.
  • Good leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
  • Basic knowledge of quality standards (ISO, ASME, etc.).
  • Knowledge of safety protocols in fabrication workshops.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
