About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Director – Business Development (EMS/PCBA) to drive growth by acquiring high-margin, high-volume partnerships with design/IP companies and OEMs across India and East Asia (China, Korea, Japan). The role is ideal for a seasoned professional who understands the electronics manufacturing ecosystem and can independently lead business expansion for our EMS/PCBA setup in Sri City.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target high-margin product categories such as mobile controllers, AC controllers, EV motor controllers, IoT devices, networking equipment, and remote controls.
  • Scout, evaluate, and engage design/IP companies and OEMs in India and East Asia with proven product portfolios.
  • Develop and propose strategic partnership models including EMS contracts, JVs, or royalty/revenue-sharing arrangements.
  • Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, margins, exclusivity, and volume commitments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (NPI, Operations, and Sales) to ensure smooth transition from deal closure to production.
  • Represent the organization at industry forums, trade shows, and customer meetings, building a strong brand presence in the electronics ecosystem.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 10–15 years of experience in Business Development or Account Management within EMS, PCBA, or consumer electronics.
  • Deep understanding of EMS cost structures, pricing, and margin models.
  • Strong network across India and East Asian electronics ecosystems.
  • Proven track record in closing complex partnerships and managing P&L impact.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strong negotiation skills, and self-driven approach.
