Job Title: Procurement Manager / Director – IT Services & Software (Contractual Role

Contract Duration: 1 Year (Contractual Engagement)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Procurement Manager / Director with deep expertise in IT services and software sourcing to support ongoing client engagements. This is a 1-year contractual role, designed for an experienced professional who can independently lead sourcing initiatives, manage supplier negotiations, and contribute to advisory deliverables in a fast-paced, consulting environment.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of commercial acumen, category depth, and hands-on execution capability across IT services, software, and digital transformation spend areas.

Key Responsibilities

Lead sourcing and procurement initiatives for IT services and software categories (Application Development, SaaS, Cloud, Infrastructure, Professional Services, etc.)

Structure and run RFPs, supplier evaluations, and commercial negotiations to achieve optimal business outcomes.

Partner closely with client stakeholders to define sourcing strategies, evaluate vendor proposals, and support contracting.

Provide market intelligence, cost benchmarking, and negotiation insights to support client decision-making.

Develop and maintain supplier relationships, monitor performance, and drive commercial governance.

Contribute to category strategy development, procurement frameworks, and best-practice collateral.

Support transition, vendor onboarding, and compliance processes as required by engagement scope.

Required Qualifications & Experience

8–15 years of experience in IT procurement or strategic sourcing, ideally in IT services and software categories.

Demonstrated experience in managing complex sourcing projects and high-value negotiations.

Strong understanding of commercial and contractual models – T&M, Fixed Price, Outcome-based, Cloud consumption, etc.

Exposure to procurement transformation or advisory projects is a plus.

Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Self-starter with ability to work in an agile, consulting-led environment.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.

MBA or relevant professional certification preferred.
