In this role, you will be responsible for executing on muliple HR processes and supporting the HR team across all HR service categories including onboarding, offboarding, Oracle data maintenance, reporting, metrics and more. Develop an in-depth, wing-to-wing knowledge of company HR operations systems & processes. Identify and resolve operational issues and support process improvement. Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Individuals who are responsible for responding to employee and HR service ticket requests, direct entry and processing of transactions into HR systems, and management of escalations and questions. Includes those who lead Service Delivery teams and/or the operations for such teams. Includes areas such as: Reporting, employee data management, employee lifecycle management, HR systems help desk, business relations, escalations, etc. For use in Shared Service teams only.
- Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
- Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults People Leader or more senior team members for issues outside of defined parameters.
- Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
- Handles simple data entry work requiring face value check and correction.
- Supports onboarding process, conduct / facilitate onboarding sessions both in person and remote sessions
- Ensure timely closure of BGV, work closely with vendors to ensure biz needs with regard to on time hiring is met
- Coordinate / support – policy updates in employee portal
- Provide Support around on demand letters, merit letters, visa letters
- Be the custodian for Employee P Files
- Conduct daily huddles with team and vendor partners to review health of the process
- Preparing and doing timely updates to SOPs around the processes manage
Required Qualifications:
- This role requires basic experience in the Human Resources & HR Operations Service Delivery. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
Desired Characteristics:
Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Strong working knowledge of Work Day, Service Cloud, Powerpoint, MS Excel.
