Job description of Marketing & Sales Executive for Corporate Gifting

Main Objective:

To identify and secure gifting opportunities, negotiate deals, and process orders efficiently, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and vendors. Responsible for exploring, cracking deals, and processing gifting orders. This role includes sourcing, customizing, and coordinating the delivery of gifts while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction. Key responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, handling logistics, and meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities

The Gifting Order Executive is responsible for: Identifying and pursuing gifting opportunities, Negotiating deals with clients and vendors, Processing orders accurately and efficiently, Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and vendors.

Opportunity Identification: Research potential clients and vendors to identify gifting opportunities, Analyse market trends and competitor activity to stay informed, Develop a pipeline of potential deals and prioritize leads.

Deal Negotiation: Reach out to potential clients and vendors to discuss gifting opportunities, Negotiate deal terms, including pricing, quantity, and delivery timelines, Ensure deals align with company goals and profitability targets.

Order Processing: Process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are captured, Coordinate with internal teams, such as logistics and production, to ensure timely delivery, Communicate with clients and vendors to confirm order details and resolve any issues.

Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors, Provide excellent customer service and respond to queries and concern, Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell gifting solutions.

Vendor Management: Building and maintaining relationships with reliable suppliers, negotiating pricing, and ensuring timely delivery and quality control.

Logistics and Delivery: Overseeing the logistics of gift delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment, and addressing any issues or challenges that arise.

Sales and Targets: Meeting sales targets and contributing to revenue generation through effective gifting solutions.

Market Awareness: Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new product offerings to provide relevant and innovative gifting options.

Reporting and Analysis: Tracking order data, analyzing sales performance, and providing reports to management.

Compliance and Safety: Ensuring all gifting activities comply with relevant regulations and maintaining safety standards in food handling and delivery.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong sales and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in corporate gifting or F&B sales is often preferred.
  • Ability to source and negotiate with vendors.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., CRM, order management systems).
  • Creativity and an eye for detail for gift customization.
