Rental Serviced Apartments Manager - India (Remote, Full-Time)

Role Summary:

The Luxury Rental Operations Manager will be responsible for building, leading, and managing a high-performing team overseeing the operations of luxury serviced apartments. Modeled after the standards of leading hospitality brands, this role is akin to a hotel General Manager and demands strong operational, team-building, and service leadership experience within premium residences in metro cities. The position is remote from India, with direct team reports locally, and may expand to include Indian properties in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Building & Management

  • Recruit, onboard, train, and lead a new team for luxury rental operations
  • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and positive work ethic
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching/mentorship

Operations Oversight

  • Oversee end-to-end operations of luxury serviced apartment properties in US and India
  • Develop and implement SOPs for guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and other essential functions
  • Optimize workflows for quality, efficiency, and cost control

Service Excellence

  • Ensure every guest receives a premium, "five-star" experience in line with luxury hospitality standards
  • Handle guest complaints, feedback, and high-touch service requests with professionalism and urgency

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Maintain full autonomy in defining and updating operational processes while actively seeking input and guidance from US leadership
  • Adapt and implement training/process improvements provided by the US team
  • Stay compliant with local regulations and safety standards

Collaboration

  • Build strong relationships with local vendors, staff, and service providers
  • Communicate regularly with the US office for support, alignment, and ongoing training

Reporting

  • Prepare operational, financial, and performance reports for management review
  • Track and drive key KPIs, including occupancy, guest satisfaction, revenue, and cost metrics

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: 5+ years in luxury property management, serviced apartments, or hospitality operations in a metro city. Indian market experience is essential; US or overseas experience is added advantage.
  • Leadership: Proven success in team-building, management, and training within high-touch hospitality environments.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; adept in operational, financial, and service processes.
  • Personality: Humble, adaptive, positive attitude, open to feedback, and collaborative; able to work independently and as part of a global team.
  • Tech: Comfort with property management systems, workflow automation, and remote communication platforms.
