About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with expertise in Tally/Zoho and practical knowledge of UAE VAT filing procedures. The chosen candidate will report in our office in Al Barsha, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Tally/Zoho ERP.
  • Prepare and maintain financial statements, ledgers, and reconciliation reports.
  • Handle VAT filing procedures in compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements.
  • Review and verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with UAE VAT laws.
  • Maintain accurate records of input and output VAT, prepare VAT returns, and assist in audits.
  • Liaise with UAE-based auditors, consultants, and management for financial reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE tax, accounting, and reporting standards.
  • Monitor cash flow, payroll, and expense management.
  • Provide monthly financial summaries and assist in budget forecasting.

IT & Technical Responsibilities

  • Manage basic IT-related tasks such as:
  • System troubleshooting
  • Software installations & updates
  • Office network & email setup support
  • Ensure secure data management, backups, and digital record-keeping.
  • Coordinate with IT vendors when needed.

Requirements

  • Education: CA/CMA inter/ MBA Finance.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Tally/Zoho ERP accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of UAE VAT law and filing process.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 2-3 years in accounting or finance.
  • Prior experience managing accounts for UAE-based clients or entities preferred.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
