Associate Application Development Analyst (.Net Developer)

YOUR ROLE

The .Net Developer is an essential team member responsible for developing high performing solutions. The .Net Developer should be able to work with other members of the team on best practices around application development. They should be flexible and willing to learn new programming skills and should be able to migrate existing solutions from one development stack to another based on organization roadmap.

What you will be doing

  • Develop, update, and maintain services across different versions of the .Net Framework inclusive of 4.5/.Net Core 3.1+/.Net 5/6/8.
  • Employ Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies to ensure high quality, maintainable code and robust application functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Develops unit tests and provides code coverage to accurately test business logic and functionality
  • Participates in developing specifications such as user stories and designs
  • Solves or recommends solutions for complex issues and problems
  • Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications
  • Documents designs, issues, solutions considered and implemented
  • Collaborates within the Agile framework, fosters a team approach to software development and delivery
  • Actively engages improving software delivery through DevOps and other Agile practices
  • Stays current in new IT technologies to maintain a high level of subject matter expertise.
  • Create low-level design documents for enterprise class structure, data model and data classes based on the signed off system requirement
  • Responsible for design and development of overall solution including re-usable classes and frameworks, component design, UI design providing scalable and resilient solution that meets functional and non-functional requirements
  • Provides solution estimates
  • Provides thought-leadership to business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements

What you bring

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • About 4 to 6 years of total IT experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with .NET development
  • 3 years of hands-on SQL Skills
  • 3 years' experience in implementing integrations such as REST, SOAP and Error Handling

Preferred Skills

  • Healthcare experience
  • Previous consulting or client services delivery experience
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews
  • Specialization in functional area (CRM, deployment, etc.) or industry domain expertise
  • Experience with software architecture and SOA services implementation
  • Experience in process excellence/modelling, workflow, or flow charting
  • Experience in Agile environments and methodologies
