The .Net Developer should be able to work with other members of the team on best practices around application development. They should be flexible and willing to learn new programming skills and should be able to migrate existing solutions from one development stack to another based on organization roadmap.What you will be doingDevelop, update, and maintain services across different versions of the .Net Framework inclusive of 4.5/.Net Core 3.1+/.Net 5/6/8. Employ Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies to ensure high quality, maintainable code and robust application functionality.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to deliver solutions that meet business requirements.Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.Develops unit tests and provides code coverage to accurately test business logic and functionalityParticipates in developing specifications such as user stories and designsSolves or recommends solutions for complex issues and problemsAssist in the development of logical and physical specificationsDocuments designs, issues, solutions considered and implementedCollaborates within the Agile framework, fosters a team approach to software development and deliveryActively engages improving software delivery through DevOps and other Agile practicesStays current in new IT technologies to maintain a high level of subject matter expertise.Create low-level design documents for enterprise class structure, data model and data classes based on the signed off system requirementResponsible for design and development of overall solution including re-usable classes and frameworks, component design, UI design providing scalable and resilient solution that meets functional and non-functional requirementsProvides solution estimatesProvides thought-leadership to business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirementsWhat you bringBachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceAbout 4 to 6 years of total IT experience.Minimum of 4 years of experience with .NET development3 years of hands-on SQL Skills3 years’ experience in implementing integrations such as REST, SOAP and Error HandlingPreferred SkillsHealthcare experiencePrevious consulting or client services delivery experienceExperience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and microservices architecture.Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviewsSpecialization in functional area (CRM, deployment, etc.) or industry domain expertiseExperience with software architecture and SOA services implementationExperience in process excellence/modelling, workflow, or flow chartingExperience in Agile environments and methodologiesEmployee Benefits & Well-BeingGenworth employees make a difference in people’s lives every day.
