Senior Education Counselor

About the Role:
We are hiring a dedicated and energetic Academic Counsellor / Admission Counsellor / Education Counsellor at MAAC Salem.
Freshers with excellent communication skills are welcome, or candidates with 2–3 years of experience in counselling/admissions will be preferred. You will be responsible for handling student enquiries, explaining our courses, guiding them in career choices, and achieving admission targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dial 250–300 outbound calls daily to prospective students.
- Invite and motivate students to visit the center and ensure regular walk-ins.
- Once students and parents walk in, counsel them on career opportunities, course offerings, and placement support.
- Maintain accurate data of enquiries, follow-ups, and conversations.
- Work towards achieving monthly admission and conversion targets.
- Be target-oriented, aggressive, and proactive in driving results.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Fresher or 2–3 years of experience in counselling or Sales.
- Languages Required: English, Tamil, and Hindi (fluency is mandatory).
- Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high call volume and work under targets.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM, record-keeping).
- Knowledge and Contact about Colleges & Schools in Salem is Mandatory
- Must have worked in Similar role and with good admission record
