Marketing Person Job Description

A marketing person is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring marketing campaigns to promote the company's products, services, or brand. This role demands creativity, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills to achieve business growth and brand awareness.

Roles and Responsibilities

ü Develop and implement strategic marketing plans aligned with business objectives.

ü Plan, create, and execute marketing campaigns across various platforms – online and offline.

ü Collaborate with sales, advertising, and product design teams to coordinate promotional activities.

ü Conduct market research to identify target audiences, analyze competitor strategies, and assess market trends.

ü Write and edit content for websites, social media, brochures, and other marketing materials.

ü Track campaign performance using relevant KPIs and prepare regular reports for management.

ü Build brand awareness by engaging customers through networking, events, and digital marketing.

ü Maintain client relationships and gather feedback to improve marketing effectiveness.

ü Coordinate public relations activities and manage media releases or company announcements.

ü Stay updated with latest industry trends and marketing best practices.

ü Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and communication channels.

Requirements

ü Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

ü Minimum 2–3 years of experience in marketing or a similar role.

ü Hands-on experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) and online marketing tools.

ü Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Content Management Systems, and SEO/SEM practices.

ü Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

ü Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

ü Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

ü Team player with proven ability to collaborate and adapt.
