Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Systems Administrator with 4-6 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and providing technical support across servers, networks, and applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windows/Linux environments, virtualization, cloud services, and security best practices.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and enterprise applications.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure maximum uptime of IT infrastructure.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory, Exchange, and other platforms.
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Manage virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Configure and maintain network components including firewalls, switches, and VPNs.
  • Implement IT security policies, monitor vulnerabilities, and respond to security incidents.
  • Maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and asset inventory.
  • Provide Level 2/3 support for escalated technical issues and assist cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers for hardware/software maintenance and upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, industry standards, and audit requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux administration, and Active Directory.
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
  • Familiarity with networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls).
  • Proficiency in backup/recovery tools, monitoring systems, and automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python preferred).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
