Role Summary:  The Head of Finance will be responsible for overseeing the entire financial ecosystem of the holding company and its subsidiaries. This includes strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, fundraising, compliance, audits, MIS, investor relations, and governance. The role demands a leader with strong financial acumen, business foresight, and a hands-on approach to building scalable and compliant financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic & Financial Planning 
  • Lead annual financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across all entities. 
  • Design and implement capital allocation strategies aligned with business growth. 
  • Present monthly/quarterly financials and key KPIs to the Board and investors. 
  • Fundraising & Investor Relations 
  • Support equity and debt fundraising efforts across all verticals. 
  • Build financial models, pitch decks, and investor reporting systems. 
  • Manage relations with banks, NBFCs, VCs, and strategic partners. 
  • Finance Operations 
  • Oversee accounting, tax, audits, and financial controls. 
  • Establish and optimize finance SOPs for procurement, payments, reimbursements, etc. 
  • Implement ERP or financial automation tools to improve efficiency. 
  • Compliance & Governance 
  • Ensure statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance (Income Tax, GST, ROC, RBI/NBFC, GIFT IFSC norms, etc.). 
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and legal advisors. 
  • Subsidiary Oversight 
  • Align financial strategies with CEOs of WOGOM, Finverse (NBFC/ITFS), and Brandverse. 
  •  Monitor margin profiles, cash flows, and working capital cycles of each vertical. 
  • Design transfer pricing, intercompany agreements, and profit centre accounting. 
Risk & Performance Management
  • Define KPIs, build dashboards, and perform variance analysis. 
  • Mitigate financial risks through robust controls and scenario modeling. 
  • Lead internal audits and compliance risk assessments. 

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) is a must; additional MBA/CFA is a plus. 
  • 10–15 years of total experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership finance role. 
  • Exposure to B2B e-commerce, fintech, NBFC, SaaS, or FMCG/consumer brands preferred. 
  • Experience in fundraise, investor reporting, and board-level financial planning. 
  • Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP, tax laws, and regulatory frameworks (especially RBI/NBFC norms, and GIFT IFSC if possible). 
  • Hands-on experience with ERP, MIS dashboards, and financial automation tools.
