Position Overview:

Sensiple is seeking a motivated Business Development Executive with 26 years of experience in selling software services and solutions in the US market. This role focuses on cold calling, lead generation, and driving sales growth

Location: Siruseri, Chennai (WFO)

Experience: 2- 6 years in IT services/SaaS sales experience

Shift: US Shift(6:30 PM - 3:30 AM)

Role Summary

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Specialist with 24 years of inside sales and lead generation experience, preferably in U.S. markets. This role is critical to driving top-of-funnel activity, including sales prospecting, cold outreach, and appointment setting and setting up qualified meetings with decision-makers. You will work closely with the Sales Director to open new conversations, nurture leads, and build the foundation for long-term B2B sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and build prospect lists across target industries.
  • Drive outreach through LinkedIn, email, and phone to engage decision-makers.
  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings that contribute to pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Maintain CRM and track activity metrics (calls, emails, meetings set).
  • Manage and continuously refresh your own prospect database.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and follow-up sequences.
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback from conversations.

Performance Expectations

  • Consistently generate new qualified meetings with target accounts.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of activities in CRM/tools.
  • Contribute to the creation of early-stage opportunities that support overall revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with Sales Director and Marketing to improve outreach effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelors and/or MBA preferred; 24 years of inside sales, business development, or B2B sales experience.
  • Prior experience in U.S. market prospecting is essential.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Hands-on with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or equivalent sales prospecting tools.
  • Exposure to Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Modern Workspace, Data & AI,SaaS) is a strong plus.
  • Self-driven: able to manage own prospect lists and outreach.
  • Resilient and curious, comfortable in a fast-paced, new-market journey.
