Position Overview

Field Sales Executive (Feet-on-Street) — Bangalore City Expansion

Location: Bangalore

Work Schedule: 6 days/week, 9 AM - 5 PM

Reports To: City Sales Manager / Founders

We need street-smart sales professionals to meet offline retail merchants, pitch ZeroBill's value, generate leads, and convert them into active users.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead Generation

  2. Identify and approach retail outlets (kiranas, supermarkets, apparel, elec- tronics, etc.)

  3. Daily target: 7-10 merchant conversations
  4. Map neighbourhoods and build prospect pipeline

  5. Sales Pitch, Followup & Conversion,

  6. Articulate ZeroBill's core benefits: digital receipts, loyalty rewards, local offers, analytics

  7. Address objections and concerns
  8. Systematic follow-up via WhatsApp, phone, in-person revisits

  9. Merchant Onboarding & Training

Install ZeroBill at checkout counter (30 mins)

Train merchant and staff on:

  • How loyalty rewards work
  • Encouraging UPI payments
  • Accessing Merchant Panel dashboard and sending promotions
  • Provide support for first 2 weeks post-launch

  • Daily & Weekly Reporting

  • Track leads in Excel: name, store type, status, contact info

  • Report weekly to manager: new contacts, conversions, sign-ups, activations
  • Provide market feedback and competitor intel

Required Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Languages: Fluent in English & Kannada
  • Microsoft Excel: Intermediate proficiency (lead tracking, reporting)
  • Sales Skills: Comfortable with cold outreach, target-driven, resilient to rejection
  • Transportation: Own 2-wheeler or reliable commute

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
