Job Title: Senior Product Specialist (Product Manager)
Job Location: Bangalore
As Product Manager for SuccessFactors Technology Services you are in charge of functionality for your product area; it's just you and the other members of the scrum team who will be empowered to deliver on product improvements end to end - across features, architecture, security, performance & scalability and issue resolution.
What you'll build
This is an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager who excels with the ability to bridge backend engineering, automation, and emerging AI technologies.
- It's your job to gather requirements and nurture customer relationships to get feedback on product direction and design.
- You set product priorities, know best business practices in the HR product domain, and boil everything you hear from customers and the market down to a well-defined problem to solve for the scrum team.
- Be the master of mapping customer business needs to product designs you articulate through epics and stories; then, when the team completes a feature, you get to tell the whole world about it through internal knowledge transfers and presentations to customers.
- The SuccessFactors Platform services team sits at the core of our ability to execute and differentiate our HCM solutions in the market. You will be responsible for the building blocks that allow our applications engineering teams to quickly develop SaaS products and APIs that perform, are consistent, and are easy to uptake by our customers
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with 9+ years of software engineering experience, including:.
- 5+ years of Software Product Management with a track record of successfully launching HR solutions
- Expertise on technology topics of Integrations, Events, API's and experience in building tools for Admin users
- Domain knowledge of Human Resources
- Experience with agile development, e.g. grooming backlog and constant interaction with the scrum team
- Ability to communicate complex issues in a clear, concise way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent project management skills in virtual and spread teams
- Experience managing customer relationships of key SAP customers, strong customer empathy
- Ability to drive a feature to completion, from requirements gathering to design and release
- Self-motivated fast learner with exceptional follow-through while operating with a sense of urgency
- Interpersonal skills: being open-minded, result-oriented and a team player with the willingness to put the team before self.
