About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales to lead and expand sales operations for our India business. This leadership position will oversee the regional sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and ensure customer satisfaction. The role includes managing a sales team of 710 members and collaborating with senior management on strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the local sales organization to achieve business targets and growth.
- Identify new market opportunities and customer needs.
- Develop and execute sales strategies in alignment with regional objectives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to drive business plans.
- Collaborate with the management team on business strategy and decision-making.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits and participation in exhibitions.
- Own Indias sales budget and revenue performance.
- Provide monthly sales reports and forecasts to the regional leadership.
- Foster a high-performance culture within the sales team.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in sales or marketing of industrial products, preferably in textile machinery or related industries.
- Proven experience in managing teams and achieving business growth.
- Strong leadership, communication, and planning skills.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written); proficiency in Hindi and Tamil preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer visits and business development.
- Proficiency with modern CRM tools and systematic market analysis.
- Strategic, customer-oriented mindset with flexibility to explore new business segments.
