About the Role: As an Automation Test Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing the automation testing strategy for our client's products. You will lead a team of automation testers and ensure that the QA team delivers high-quality testing solutions and results in alignment with project timelines and business objectives. Your expertise in test automation frameworks and leadership skills will be key in driving continuous improvement in the testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the automation testing team to deliver automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Pytest, etc.
  • Architect and design automation frameworks, strategies, and processes for both functional and non-functional testing.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of test automation processes into the development lifecycle.
  • Review and prioritize testing requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
  • Mentor junior testers and promote best practices within the team.
  • Oversee and improve test automation metrics to assess efficiency and effectiveness of test activities.
  • Participate in project planning meetings and provide input on test automation timelines and resources needed.
  • Write test scripts, execute tests, and analyze results to report defects and escalate issues as needed.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of experience in software testing with a strong background in automation testing.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and managing test automation projects.
  • Expertise in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Pytest, and other relevant testing frameworks.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and tools, like Jenkins, and Git.
  • Knowledge of performance testing and other automation testing tools is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
