Roles and Responsibilities:

  • System Administration: Manage and maintain Windows, macOS, and Linux systems, including installations, upgrades, patch management, and performance monitoring.
  • Network Management: Oversee network architecture and operations; configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls , Aruba switches , and access points ; ensure network reliability, security, and optimal performance.
  • Asset Management: Supervise the complete lifecycle of IT assets\procurement, allocation, tracking, and disposal\while maintaining accurate inventory and compliance records.
  • Infrastructure Management: Plan, configure, and manage servers, storage, and IT infrastructure resources; ensure high availability and scalability of systems.
  • Technical Support Oversight: Lead the IT support function to ensure timely resolution of system, software, and network issues; coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless IT operations.
  • Problem Resolution: Analyze and resolve complex IT incidents; perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and optimize system reliability.
  • Cybersecurity & Compliance: Implement and monitor security controls, firewall rules, and access policies; support cybersecurity audits and ensure adherence to organizational security standards.
  • \ Hands-on expertise in deploying, configuring, and optimizing Wazuh SIEM, including rule creation, log onboarding, correlation logic, and dashboard\/report customization to strengthen threat visibility.\
  • Strong incident response and remediation expertise , involving triage, containment, root-cause analysis, playbook execution, and cross-team collaboration to reduce risk and ensure 24\/7 operational readiness.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive IT documentation, asset logs, and network diagrams; prepare periodic reports on IT performance, up time, and security posture.

Requirements

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor\degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or a related field, with CCNA Certified, and MCSA certification good to have as well.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management, networking, and asset management.
- Strong technical expertise in Windows Server , macOS , and Linux environments.
- Proficiency in network management , firewall administration (Palo Alto) , and switch configuration (Aruba or equivalent) .
- Sound understanding of TCP\/IP , DNS , VPNs , and LAN\/WAN technologies.
- Experience with IT asset lifecycle management and related documentation processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to lead IT operations, manage priorities effectively, and perform in a fast\-paced environment.
