What You'll Do:
- Supervise and lead the billing team: provide guidance, training and performance management to ensure top performance.
- Oversee daily billing operations to guarantee accurate and timely invoicing.
- Generate, distribute and finalise monthly proformas; ensure client invoices are prepared in compliance with Statements of Account (SOAs) or company terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with finance, sales, customer service and other departments to resolve billing issues or discrepancies.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of billing activities.
- Manage month-end and year-end billing close processes and ensure adherence to revenue recognition standards.
- Submit electronic invoices, monitor and track progress from billing through to collection.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy within the team and across systems.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed.
Who You Are:
You're a detail-oriented professional with a talent for ensuring accuracy and managing multiple priorities. If you have:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in billing, accounting or revenue cycle roles, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Proficiency with billing systems and software (e.g., JDE, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite) and strong knowledge of billing processes, collections and revenue recognition principles.

- Excellent leadership, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical ability and meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and facilitate communication with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Effective communicator, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure and manage assignments with flexibility.
- Experience submitting e-billing invoices and working across multiple platforms is an advantage.
