Role Objective:

Ensure secure, resilient, and optimized network connectivity for mainframe systems, supporting hybrid cloud and modernization goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support API exposure and integration with external services.
  • Implement network monitoring and incident response mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams for compliance.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in mainframe networking protocols and configurations.
  • Experience with secure connectivity tools and practices.
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud networking (VPNs, gateways, firewalls).
  • Knowledge of IBM Z17 architecture and Concert integration.
  • Understanding of network observability tools (Instana, Cloudwatch).
