Job Opening: IFD – Branch Head | Pune
Are you an experienced professional in Investment & Financial Distribution? We are looking for a dynamic Branch Head – IFD to lead business development, team growth, and channel expansion in Pune.
Role Overview
As an IFD Branch Head, you will act as a profit center leader responsible for:
Driving business development and expansion of the IFDG channel
Growing & retaining the IFD base
Advising Independent Financial Distributors on primary market products
Leading branch operations and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the branch as a profit center head
Expand and manage the branch team
Identify & empanel CAs, ex-bankers, wealth advisors, insurance agents, and finance professionals as Independent Financial Distributors
Train IFDs on digital platforms, mobile apps, and primary market products (MF, IPOs, NFOs, Bonds, NCDs, Corporate FDs, etc.)
Drive IFDs to achieve sales targets consistently
Analyse IFD needs and guide them on the right product mix
Acquire new IFDs and support them in building business
Organize events and develop IFD sales activities
Required Experience
Minimum 5–6+ years in investment-related products:
Mutual Funds
Fixed Income
Life & General Insurance
Experience in IFA/IFD empanelment
Strong understanding of IFA channel business processes
Good network and connect with IFAs
Excellent communication skills
Qualification & Certifications
Graduate / Post Graduate
NISM VA certification is mandatory
IRDA certification is an added advantage
Team handling experience is required
