About the Role

Innovatiview India is seeking an experienced
Project Head – Surveillance (IT Infrastructure)
to lead and manage end-to-end execution of large-scale government surveillance and IT infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will oversee project planning, execution, resource management, vendor coordination, client communication, and final delivery as per government standards and SLAs. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, team management skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management & Execution

• Lead the complete
  SITC (Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning)
  of CCTV surveillance systems and IT infrastructure.
• Prepare and manage
  project plans, timelines, and budgets
  for government surveillance projects.
• Monitor project progress and ensure on-time delivery aligned with contractual obligations and compliance standards.
• Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and technical assessments for project planning.

2. Technical Oversight (CCTV & IT Infrastructure)

• Expertise in
  CCTV, NVR, VMS, command & control centers, servers, networking, storage solutions, and data centers
  .
• Ensure technical integration and interoperability of hardware, network components, and security systems.
• Validate system architecture, design documents, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Resolve technical escalations and ensure adherence to industry standards.

3. Team Leadership & Resource Management

• Lead and manage project teams including engineers, site coordinators, field technicians, and contractors.
• Allocate resources effectively and track team performance for project milestones.
• Conduct training, mentorship, and performance reviews of project staff.

4. Stakeholder & Client Management

• Manage coordination with
  government departments, system integrators, vendors, OEMs, and internal teams
  .
• Act as primary point of contact for clients, ensuring transparency and consistent project updates.
• Handle escalations, present status reports, and manage approvals/documentation with authorities.

5. Vendor & Contractor Coordination

• Oversee vendor evaluation, negotiation, and management for equipment supply and installation.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, SLAs, and quality parameters.
• Verify vendor deliverables, work orders, and service agreements.

6. Compliance, Quality & Documentation

• Ensure projects comply with
  government standards, security protocols, safety norms, and regulatory guidelines
  .
• Maintain documentation including DPRs, MIS reports, billing documents, test reports, and handover documents.
• Conduct quality audits, testing, and site inspections to ensure system reliability.

7. Risk, Issue & Budget Management

• Identify project risks, dependency issues, and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure cost optimization and adherence to approved financial plans.
• Manage change requests and contract variations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Technical Skills

• In-depth knowledge of
  CCTV Surveillance Systems, Networking, IT Infrastructure, Access Control, Analytics, VMS, Command Centres
  .
• Strong understanding of
  SITC lifecycle
  , system integrations, and government tendering processes.
• Expertise in reading and creating
  project drawings, layouts, BOQ, and technical documentation
  .

Management Skills

• Proven experience in managing large-scale
  government surveillance/IT infrastructure projects
  .
• Excellent
  team management, leadership, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making skills
  .
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.

Education

• B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics, Electrical, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• PMP/Prince2 certification is an added advantage.

Experience

• 15+ years
  of professional experience in
  CCTV, surveillance, security systems, and IT infrastructure project management
  .
• Minimum
  7–10 years
  managing government or large turnkey projects.
