Role & responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Lead vendor selection, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Ensure procurement of quality materials and services at optimal cost and within defined timelines.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives and identify opportunities for savings.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
  • Collaborate with project, commercial, and finance teams to forecast requirements and plan purchases.
  • Manage procurement budgets, reporting, and MIS for leadership.
  • Implement digital procurement systems and best practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing procurement team.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering/Commerce/Business Management; MBA/Supply Chain Management preferred.
  • Experience: 15+ years of experience in procurement/supply chain, preferably in construction/MEP/engineering industries, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale procurement budgets.
  • Knowledge of contracts, statutory compliance, and procurement ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
