Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and visionary General Manager to lead the end to end operations of our Flat Knits, Circular knits and Woven garments' factory. This role goes beyond day to day management it is about building scalable systems, driving performance excellence, and developing future ready operational capacity. The ideal candidate will bring at least 15 years of manufacturing experience including management of cross functional teams, and a track record of transformational impact.

Key Leadership Responsibilities:

• Strategic Operational Leadership:
  Provide overarching leadership for factory operations with a focus on building systems, improving workflows, and aligning production capabilities with long term business objectives. Champion a culture of operational discipline, excellence, and accountability.
• Systems & Process Development:
  Design and institutionalize SOPs, KPIs, and quality benchmarks across all production departments. Establish frameworks for continuous improvement, operational audits, and compliance to enhance efficiency and consistency.
• Capacity Building & Talent Development:
  Mentor, coach, and empower department heads and factory supervisors to build second line leadership. Drive skill development initiatives, succession planning, and a performance oriented culture.
• Production Strategy & Resource Planning:
  Lead strategic production planning by aligning customer demand with plant capacity and resource availability. Ensure robust planning tools and feedback mechanisms are in place for real time optimization.
• Quality & Compliance Oversight:
  Set and enforce high quality standards and compliance frameworks. Strengthen internal QA/QC systems to reduce rework, defects, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Vendor & Supply Chain Leadership:
  Build strategic partnerships with suppliers and vendors. Streamline procurement and vendor evaluation systems for better cost control, delivery timelines, and material consistency.
• Cost Leadership & Operational Efficiency:
  Drive lean manufacturing principles, reduce waste, and implement cost saving strategies while safeguarding quality and timely delivery. Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and cost analysis.
• Data-Driven Reporting & Governance:
  Create robust dashboards and MIS tools for monitoring performance metrics. Deliver regular insights to top management with actionable recommendations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience:
  15+ years in the manufacturing industry with significant exposure to both knitwear and woven knits. Prior experience leading large scale factory operations is a must.
• Technical Expertise:
  Sound knowledge of garment construction, finishing, knitting/weaving techniques, and factory floor systems.
• Leadership Acumen
  : Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, navigate organizational complexity, and influence change.
• Operational Insight:
  Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, production technologies, logistics, and supply chain dynamics.
• Education:
  Graduate in Textile Engineering, Garment Manufacturing, or related discipline. Additional certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or Operations Management are highly preferable.
• Experience in manufacturing and graduate degree is more important.
• Communication & Collaboration:
  Strong communication skills with the ability to engage cross functional teams, vendors, and executive leadership.
