Job Overview:

SkyQuest is seeking a Presentation Design Specialist to join our creative team. This role is ideal for an experienced designer with a passion for crafting visually compelling presentations that communicate complex research in an accessible and engaging way. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating presentations using tools like PowerPoint and Google Slides, with an eye for detail, design, and storytelling. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing content for social media, including posts for LinkedIn that celebrate team milestones and company achievements.

Key Responsibilities:

Presentation Design and Editing:

• Review, edit, and improve presentations (PowerPoint, Google Slides, etc.) to ensure clarity, visual appeal, and consistency with SkyQuest's branding guidelines.
• Collaborate with research analysts and content creators to fully understand the objectives and purpose of each presentation.
• Provide feedback on design elements, content structure, and storytelling techniques to maximize presentation impact.
• Edit text for clarity, grammar, and flow while ensuring presentations are concise and engaging.
• Maintain version control for presentations and track progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Optimize layouts to effectively present complex ideas and data in an engaging, accessible format.

Social Media & Content Creation:

• Design visually appealing posts for LinkedIn, such as birthday and anniversary celebrations, to showcase company milestones and team achievements.
• Ensure that all social media content aligns with SkyQuest's brand voice and visual identity.
• Work closely with the marketing team to plan, schedule, and publish posts that promote SkyQuest's culture, values, and key milestones.
• Write engaging captions and calls-to-action to foster interaction and strengthen community engagement on social platforms.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality presentation and social media content is delivered within deadlines.
• Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards, ensuring that content is inclusive and understandable by all audiences.

Key Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Presentation Designer or Editor, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating visually compelling presentations.
• Skills:
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Google Slides, and other presentation design tools (Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout optimization.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Creative problem-solving abilities with a passion for visual storytelling.
• Experience designing engaging social media content, particularly for LinkedIn.
• Social Media Knowledge: Understanding of best practices for creating content and fostering engagement on LinkedIn and other platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to incorporate data into presentations effectively.
• Familiarity with video editing or animation tools to enhance presentation content.
• Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices for LinkedIn.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments and adapting to changing project needs.
