Job Overview:SkyQuest is looking for a skilled and creative Presentation Editor to join our dynamic team. As a Presentation Editor, you will be responsible for editing and enhancing presentations to ensure they are visually compelling, informative, and aligned with SkyQuest's high standards of quality. Additionally, you will handle the creation of engaging and visually appealing social media posts, including birthday and anniversary posts for LinkedIn, to highlight team achievements and company milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Presentation Editing:
  • Review, edit, and improve PowerPoint, Google Slides, and other presentation formats for clarity, style, and visual appeal.
  • Ensure all presentations adhere to SkyQuest's brand guidelines and maintain a consistent design across various decks.
  • Work closely with research analysts and content creators to understand the message and purpose of each presentation.
  • Provide feedback on design elements, content flow, and storytelling techniques to enhance the overall impact.
  • Edit text for clarity, grammar, and accuracy while ensuring the presentation remains concise and engaging.
  • Maintain version control and track presentation progress to meet tight deadlines.
  • Organize and optimize presentation layouts to ensure effective communication of complex ideas.
  • Social Media & Content Creation:
  • Design and create visually appealing birthday and anniversary posts for LinkedIn to celebrate team milestones and company achievements.
  • Ensure social media posts align with SkyQuest's brand voice and visual identity.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and schedule posts that promote company culture and milestones.
  • Develop engaging captions and call-to-actions for social media posts that encourage interaction and build community.
  • Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality presentations and social media content.
  • Ensure presentations are designed to be visually accessible, ensuring inclusivity in design and content.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Presentation Editor, Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio of presentation work.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Google Slides, and other presentation design tools (Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for visual storytelling.
  • Experience in designing engaging social media posts, particularly for LinkedIn.
  • Understanding of best practices for social media content creation and engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Familiarity with video editing and animation tools.
  • Knowledge of social media trends and best practices for LinkedIn content.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with the ability to adapt quickly to changing needs.
