The Foundation is now seeking a passionate and skilled Fundraiser to help us expand our reach and maximize our impact.

Job Summary

The Fundraiser will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a strategic fundraising plan to generate financial resources for JRF's programs and initiatives. The role involves identifying potential funding sources, building relationships with donors, grant writing, and organizing fundraising events. The ideal candidate is creative, self-motivated, and has a strong background in non-profit fundraising with a deep commitment to social causes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fundraising Strategy and Planning

2. Develop and implement an innovative fundraising strategy aligned with JRF's mission, goals, and values.

3. Identify and analyze fundraising trends to guide future planning and strategy.

4. Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual fundraising targets.

5. Grant Writing and Proposal Development

6. Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and other sources.

7. Develop compelling proposals and grant applications to secure funding for JRF's initiatives.

8. Collaborate with program teams to understand project needs and align grant proposals accordingly.

9. Donor Engagement and Relationship Building

10. Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with prospective and current donors, including individuals, corporate partners, foundations, and government agencies.

11. Develop donor engagement strategies to retain and grow JRF's donor base.

12. Create and implement a donor communications plan, ensuring timely follow-ups, updates, and acknowledgments.

13. Event Planning and Coordination

14. Plan, organize, and execute fundraising events, both virtual and in-person, to drive revenue and build awareness.

15. Develop partnerships with sponsors and event collaborators to maximize event impact.

16. Ensure seamless logistics, promotions, and post-event follow-ups.

17. Financial Management and Reporting

18. Track and report on fundraising progress, analyzing data to assess the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives.

19. Manage the fundraising budget and ensure cost-effective strategies.

20. Prepare regular reports for JRF's leadership team, providing insights into fundraising performance and donor engagement.

21. Marketing and Communications Support

22. Collaborate with the marketing team to create fundraising-related content for JRF's website, social media, newsletters, and other channels.

23. Develop impact stories, case studies, and reports to showcase JRF's achievements and drive donor interest.

Qualifications

• Education
  : Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Non-profit Management, Public Relations, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
• Experience
  : Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, or donor management for non-profit organizations.
• Skills
  :
• Strong understanding of fundraising principles, donor relations, and grant writing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in proposal and report writing.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Event planning and project management skills with attention to detail.
• Data-driven mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, fundraising databases, and CRM software.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
