The role demands strong stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and governance leadership, ensuring delivery excellence through structured frameworks, milestone tracking, and risk management. Additionally, the Associate Director must leverage financial and operational data to generate insights, optimize costs, and enhance efficiency, while preparing executive-level reports and dashboards that inform strategic decisions and link transformation initiatives across the enterprise.
Principal Duties/Responsibilities
Ensure that strategic programs & projects are in alignment with overall business transformation objectives and timelines, and to advise and support stakeholders in Business Units and Functions in undertaking business transformation programs & initiatives.
Responsible for the delivery of projects under his/her purview in accordance with KPMG's' approach towards project management, including taking the lead in the crafting of feasibility studies, business cases, white papers, etc.
Play a pivotal role in managing stakeholder relationships and alignment. Ensure regular engagement with stakeholders and solicit their support for ongoing projects, wherever required. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and leadership buy-in.
Establish and maintain governance frameworks that ensure delivery excellence such as designing and executing PMO activities for large and complex programs; driving quality assurance, compliance, and risk management protocols; Leading scorecard development and milestone tracking across global programs.
Use statistical tools to interpret financial data sets, while focusing on crystallizing trends and patterns that could be valuable for optimizing costs in KDNI. In addition, identify business areas in KDNI to increase efficiency and automation of processes.
Prepare reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant financial data of KDNI and drawing from industry best practices. Also, create data dashboards, graphs and their visualization.
Ensure appropriate linkages with other projects and initiatives within the business transformation landscape in KDNI and confirm that appropriate ownership is taken of risks and dependencies between projects and initiatives.
Job Requirements
Education background
MBA from a reputed B-School in India or overseas.
Graduate / Engineering background (REC/NIT/IIT etc.)
PMP Certification (Preferred)
Expert in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
Mandatory Skills
The candidate must have 17-20 years of relevant experience successfully executing complex projects end-to-end, pertaining to PMO, Cost Optimization, Technology Implementation and Process Re-engineering.
Should have successfully implemented at least 12-20 projects and should be well versed with Project Management methodologies and tools.
Excellent knowledge and experience of using MS Office apps such as, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Project, among others.
Knowledge of Data Analytics and Visualization apps preferred, such as Power BI, Python, etc.
Preferred Skills
Strong problem solving and project/program management skills as well as ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience in partnering with senior stakeholders and managing various stakeholder groups effectively.
Excellent relationship management skills – display sensitivity to organizational dynamics and cultivate relationships across functions in order to drive results.
Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations
Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments and locations
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) – ability to adapt communication upwards and downwards for appropriate levels of detail
Ability to influence, negotiate and constructively challenge to achieve productive solutions for complex business problems
