Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated
Embedded Systems Engineer
with strong experience

in
embedded programming
, touch display
UI development
, and
IoT cloud integration
(
AWS preferred
). The candidate will work on designing, developing, and deploying IoTenabled devices that capture and send data (GPS, temperature, audio recordings, sensor streams) to AWS servers in a structured, secure, and scalable format.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain
    firmware for embedded systems
    (ESP32/STM32/ARM or  similar MCUs).
  • Design and implement
    user interfaces for touchscreen displays
    (LVGL, TFT,  ST7789, or similar libraries/frameworks).
  • Work on
    data acquisition from multiple sensors
    (GPS, temperature/humidity, 4G  module, microphones, etc.) and ensure real-time data processing.
  • Implement
    secure communication protocols
    (HTTPs, MQTT, WebSockets) for  device-to-cloud data transfer.
  • Integrate devices with
    AWS IoT Core / AWS Lambda / AWS S3 / DynamoDB
    for data ingestion and storage.
  • Ensure
    data formatting and structuring
    for multiple devices to be easily consumed  by backend systems.
  • Collaborate with cloud/backend teams to ensure seamless integration of embedded  devices with AWS infrastructure.
  • Debug, optimize, and test embedded systems for
    low power consumption and  reliability
    .
  • Maintain
    documentation, version control (Git)
    , and testing frameworks for  embedded projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience in
    Embedded C/C++
    and/or
    Python for  microcontrollers
    .
  • Good understanding of
    RTOS (FreeRTOS preferred
    ) and embedded peripherals  (UART, SPI, I2C, I2S, ADC, etc).
  • Experience with
    touchscreen GUI frameworks (LVGL, TFT_eSPI, or similar)
    .
  • Knowledge of
    AWS IoT Core, AWS S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and related cloud services
    .
  • Familiarity with
    IoT data protocols
    – MQTT, HTTPS, CoAP.
  • Experience in handling
    GPS modules, environmental sensors, and I2S  microphones
    .
  • Knowledge of secure
    data handling and OTA firmware updates
    .
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

  • Experience with
    ESP-IDF, PlatformIO, Arduino framework on ESP32/ESP32-S3
    .
  • Knowledge of
    containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
    for AWS backend integration.
  • Familiarity with
    CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems
    .
  • Understanding of
    industrial IoT (IIoT) standards
    .

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Electronics, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field.
