Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Firmware Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain firmware for our IoT devices using Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS). The ideal candidate will have experience in RTOS development, serial port communication, and driver development. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work on cutting-edge technologies and make a significant impact on the power sector.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, test, and maintain firmware for IoT devices using RTOS.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware design, electrical engineering, software development) to
3. ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
4. Write high-quality, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to the company's coding standards and best practices.
5. Develop drivers for various peripherals used in IoT devices, including serial ports and other communication
6. interfaces.
7. Debug and resolve firmware-related issues using debugging tools and techniques.
8. Collaborate with the hardware design team to ensure proper integration of new features and hardware components into existing firmware.
9. Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and RTOS platforms.
10. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to help improve team productivity and code
11. quality.
12. Document firmware design, development, and test processes to ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
13. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience developing firmware for IoT devices using RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr, etc.).
3. Strong understanding of embedded systems and serial port communication protocols (e.g., RS-232, RS-485, SPI, I2C, etc.).
4. Familiarity with programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or other relevant languages.
5. Knowledge of digital signal processing and real-time systems.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
8. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow project requirements.
9. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
10. Familiarity with agile development methodologies, version control systems (Git), and integrated development environments (IDEs) such as Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, etc., is a plus.
