BIM Manager

Job Title: BIM Manager

Educational Qualification:

 Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) or Architecture.

 Minimum 8- 10 years of experience in BIM project execution and management,

preferably in infrastructure or large-scale building projects.

 Autodesk Certified Professional.

Key Responsibilities:

Model Review & Coordination:

 Analyse and review BIM models across Architectural, Structural, and MEPF

disciplines for station buildings and infrastructure projects.

 Provide detailed feedback to design teams ensuring alignment with project

requirements and standards.

 Verify and validate as-built BIM models for accuracy, completeness, and quality.

Modelling &

Documentation:

 Develop and modify BIM models for Architectural, Structural, and MEPF elements

based on design inputs and project specifications.

 Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using Revit, ensuring compliance with

project standards.

 Generate equipment schedules, BOQs, and quantity take-offs from BIM models.

Quality Assurance & Standards

Compliance:

 Conduct regular quality checks on BIM models and drawings to ensure consistency,

accuracy, and adherence to established BIM standards.

 Ensure models are set up and maintained according to Project Information

Standards, BEP, and EIR.

 Implement and monitor BIM workflows and quality control procedures.

BEP Creation & Implementation:

 Lead the development of the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) in alignment with project

goals, client requirements, and ISO 19650 standards.

 Define BIM processes, roles, responsibilities, collaboration protocols, and data

exchange formats.

 Ensure all stakeholders are aligned with the BEP and monitor its implementation

throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaboration & Clash Detection:

 Create and maintain federated models for multi-disciplinary coordination.

 Perform clash detection using Navisworks or equivalent tools and lead resolution

meetings with stakeholders.

 Coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve design conflicts and ensure

clash-free models.

Project Management &

Reporting:

 Manage scope and timelines effectively, ensuring deliverables are met with minimal

supervision.

 Report progress regularly to Chief BIM Expert/Senior Managers and follow directives

for timely submissions.

 Maintain organized records of all exported models and drawings in designated

directories.

Process & Standards Development:

 Contribute to the development and refinement of BIM standards, templates, and

workflows.

 Ensure compliance with ISO 19650, BEP, EIR, and other relevant BIM protocols.

 Export models in NWD, IFC, and other formats for internal and external collaboration.

Mentorship & Training:

 Provide guidance and mentorship to junior BIM staff.

 Conduct training sessions to enhance team proficiency in BIM tools and workflows.

Required Technical Skills:

 Revit (Advanced): Proficient in modeling, documentation, and family

creation/modification.

 Navisworks (Intermediate): Clash detection and coordination.

 Dynamo (Intermediate): Scripting for automation and parametric modeling.

 AutoCAD (Intermediate): For legacy drawing integration and detailing.

 CDE Platforms: Experience with BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) for

model collaboration and data management.

 Design Automation: Exposure to automation tools and workflows is a plus.

Pay: ₹1,000, ₹1,600,000.00 per year
