Role Description

The
Fundraising Manager
will play a critical role in securing and sustaining financial support for CME and its associated foundations and programs.

This is a
full-time on-site role
based in
Bengaluru
, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing multi-channel fundraising initiatives to drive the organization's growth and impact.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Fundraising & Development

• Design and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy for CME and its allied foundations.
• Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with
  major donors, CSR partners, philanthropic institutions, and government grant programs
  (Startup Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, etc.).
• Develop compelling proposals and grant applications aligned with CME's vision for institutional empowerment, sustainability, and education reform.
• Manage annual giving, endowment, and recurring donor programs.

Partnerships & Relationship Management

• Build and nurture partnerships with
  charities, educational foundations, and social impact investors
  .
• Represent CME and its initiatives at key events, summits, and donor forums.
• Foster strong collaborations across all domains —

  .

Program Alignment

• Work closely with program teams to align fundraising goals with project priorities.
• Ensure that every fund raised translates into measurable social and educational impact.
• Support institutional empowerment programs for schools, startups, and local communities.

Communication & Reporting

• Create inspiring communication material — donor decks, impact reports, and campaign updates.
• Maintain transparency and accountability through proper documentation and progress reports.
• Manage CRM databases for donor relations and pipeline tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree
  in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Communications, or related field.
• 3–7 years
  of proven experience in fundraising, CSR partnerships, or institutional development.
• Demonstrated success in securing major gifts, grants, or philanthropic investments.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a natural ability to connect purpose to people.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (proficiency in Kannada/Hindi is a plus).
• Passion for education, innovation, and community upliftment.
• Prior experience in the
  management consulting, nonprofit, or social innovation sector
  is an advantage.
