Furniture Merchandiser cum MIS

Job Summary:

The Furniture Merchandiser cum MIS Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end merchandising process for furniture products — from product Sales Analysis, Inventory Analysis , vendor coordination, and costing to production follow-up and delivery. The role also involves maintaining and analyzing Management Information System (MIS) reports to support business decisions and ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Merchandising Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Product buyer, suppliers, and production teams for new product Launch and their movement.
• Plan and execute product assortments as per market trends and buyer requirements.
• Track production schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis for products
• Maintain detailed records of product specifications, product shoot, purchase orders, and shipment schedules.
• Collaborate with the design and marketing teams for catalog creation and product display planning.

MIS (Management Information System) Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and update MIS reports related to sales, inventory, production, and purchase.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management review.
• Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights for business improvement.
• Monitor stock levels and forecast inventory requirements.
• Ensure data accuracy and timely reporting across all departments.
• Support the finance and operations teams with data for budgeting and performance tracking.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of furniture products, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent vendor management skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP/MIS software.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree and retail merchandising experience .
• 2–3 years of experience in furniture merchandising or a similar role.
• Experience in MIS reporting and data analysis preferred. Well verse in excel .

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹50,000.00 per month
