Urgent hiring for Supply Chain cum Procurement Manager (male only)

Job Title: Supply Chain cum Procurement Manager (male only)

Location: Koparkhairane, Thane District

Experience: 15–17 years (Male candidates preferred)

Industry: Engineering / Manufacturing

Qualification: Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the procurement and supply chain operations independently.
  • Source and procure materials such as sheets, rods, pipes, structural steel, castings, and structural sheets.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and designs to understand material specifications and requirements.
  • Conduct vendor scouting and negotiations to ensure best pricing, quality, and lead times.
  • Identify and implement cost reduction strategies across the procurement cycle. Maintain a strong understanding of the metal market trends and pricing.
  • Manage job work processes such as laser cutting, bending, machining, CED coating, galvanizing, etc.
  • Oversee and streamline end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement planning, logistics, and inventory management.
  • prepare and maintain MIS reports related to procurement and supply chain performance.
  • Foster strong vendor relationships and evaluate vendor performance regularly. Lead and develop a team of purchase and supply chain executives. Travel as needed to source materials and inspect vendors/suppliers.
  • Coordinate closely with production, design, and finance teams to align procurement with project needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong technical knowledge of engineering materials and processes Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong vendor management and market analysis skills
  • Leadership ability with team-handling experience
  • Willingness to travel for sourcing
  • Proficient in MIS reporting and procurement systems
