Reporting to: Area Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager

Position Summary:

The Area Sales Officer will be responsible for achieving sales targets in the assigned territory, developing and maintaining relationships with dealers, distributors, applicators, and contractors, and ensuring effective market penetration for the companys products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales & Target Achievement

  2. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for the assigned territory.

  3. Drive sales growth through dealer network expansion and direct market coverage.

  4. Dealer & Distributor Management

  5. Identify, appoint, and develop new dealers/distributors.

  6. Maintain healthy relationships with existing partners to ensure continuous sales.

  7. Market Development

  8. Conduct regular market visits to understand customer needs and competitor activities.

  9. Promote products to contractors, builders, architects, and retailers.

  10. Promotion & Branding Activities

  11. Implement sales promotion schemes and ensure visibility of the brand at retail points.

  12. Organize product demos and technical sessions for influencers.

  13. Reporting & Coordination

  14. Submit daily/weekly/monthly sales reports.

  15. Coordinate with the marketing and supply chain teams for smooth order execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in any discipline (Civil Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Management preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales (construction chemicals, building materials, paints, adhesives preferred).
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of the local market and customer behavior.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in MS Office & basic reporting tools.

Working Hours:

10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Field Job – extensive travel within assigned territory)
