Job Location – Mumbai

Role Overview:

The Crewing Documentation Executive is responsible for managing and verifying all documentation related to seafarer recruitment, certification, joining, and repatriation. The role ensures full compliance with international maritime regulations, flag state requirements, and company standards, supporting the efficient deployment and management of vessel crew.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date crew documentation records for all seafarers in the company's crewing system.
  • Verify the validity and authenticity of certificates, licenses, medicals, and travel documents in line with STCW, MLC 2006, and flag state requirements.
  • Coordinate with manning agents, training centers, and government authorities to obtain necessary approvals and endorsements.
  • Prepare and process sign-on/sign-off documents, crew employment contracts, and joining instructions.
  • Liaise with port agents, travel coordinators, and vessel operations for smooth crew mobilization and demobilization.
  • Monitor expiry dates of critical documents and ensure timely renewal.
  • Support internal and external audits by ensuring proper filing and traceability of all crew-related documents.
  • Maintain compliance checklists and assist in periodic reporting to management.
  • Ensure data protection and confidentiality of all crew documentation.

Qualifications & Skills;

  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Studies, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in crewing documentation, manning, or marine HR operations.
  • Familiarity with STCW, MLC 2006, and flag state documentation procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and crewing management software.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400, ₹500,000.00 per month
