JOB DESCRIPTION:
The
Executive Assistant (EA)
to the
Managing Director (MD)
will provide administrative support to the MD and assist with the overall management of the organization. The EA will work on various projects and initiatives to ensure the smooth functioning of the organization. Responsibilities include managing the MD's schedule, arranging meetings, and coordinating travel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a liaison between the MD, staff members, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal staff at all levels.
- Participate in team meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items as required.
- Provide support for special projects and initiatives as assigned by the MD.
- Manage the MD's schedule and arrange meetings, both internal and external ensuring all necessary materials and information are provided in a timely manner.
- Assist the MD with travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and ground transportation.
- Draft and edit correspondence, memos, and reports as directed by the MD.
- Assist with the preparation of presentations, proposals, and other materials for meetings and events.
- Support the organization of events, including conferences, workshops, and other activities as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
