Catering Sales Manager to join our growing team in Gujarat.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

Identify, target, and acquire new clients across industrial, corporate, and private catering sectors in Gujarat.

Develop strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue growth for Somnath Canteen Service.

Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, competitor activities, and emerging trends in catering and food services.

Prepare and deliver professional presentations, proposals, and quotations to potential clients.

Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure profitability.

Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and exceptional customer service.

Handle client queries, concerns, and feedback effectively to maintain high satisfaction levels.

Event & Canteen Service Coordination

Work closely with operations, kitchen, and service teams to ensure smooth execution of catering contracts.

Provide detailed client requirements to the production and service teams.

Oversee major events to ensure service quality meets client expectations.

Manage client accounts for corporate catering, weddings, events, and industrial canteens.

Marketing & Branding Support

Collaborate with the marketing team to promote Somnath Canteen Service through LinkedIn, social media, and local networks.

Represent the brand at business meetings, networking events, and trade fairs.

Suggest creative ideas to enhance brand visibility and attract new customers.

Reporting & Administration

Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline reports, and client databases.

Track performance against monthly and annual sales targets.

Prepare detailed sales reports for management.

Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and hygiene standards.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong background in sales, business development, or client servicing within hospitality, catering, or food services.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships.

Target-driven mindset with proven ability to achieve and exceed sales goals.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Positive attitude, self-motivation, and a passion for food & hospitality.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration (preferred but not mandatory).

Minimum 2–5 years of experience in catering, hospitality, or food & beverage sales.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive market.

Familiarity with industrial catering and large-scale event management will be an advantage.

Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and online networking platforms (LinkedIn, B2B platforms).
