A UAE-based consulting firm specializing in AML, Compliance, Governance, and Risk Advisory. They support banks, DNFBPs, fintechs, payment firms, law practices, and regulators across the UAE & GCC. Work focuses on AML policy drafting, governance frameworks, risk reviews, and compliance documentation for international clients.

Role Overview:

We are hiring a Senior Compliance Consultant/Manager with strong expertise in AML, regulatory compliance, policy drafting, governance frameworks and team leadership.

You will create consulting-grade documentation, lead a remote team of 5+ analysts, and work directly with UAE-based clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Policy, SOP & Framework Development:

  • Draft AML Policies, Sanctions Policies, KYC/CDD Manuals, Compliance Frameworks
  • Prepare SOPs, workflows, process notes, checklists
  • Align all documentation with UAE FIU/goAML requirements

2. Risk Assessment & Reporting:

  • Create Enterprise Risk Assessments (ERA) & AML Risk Reports
  • Conduct regulatory gap analysis for UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, KSA
  • Prepare audit reports, monitoring summaries, red-flag documentation

3. Legal Drafting & Advisory:

  • Draft legal notes, regulatory responses, advisory documents
  • Interpret GCC regulations and recommend control enhancements

4. Team Leadership & Quality Review

  • Lead & mentor 5+ compliance analysts
  • Review policies, reports, and frameworks for accuracy & quality
  • Maintain Big 4style documentation standards

5. Client Interaction & Delivery

  • Present deliverables to UAE clients
  • Manage review cycles, timelines, and stakeholder updates

Must-Have Requirements:

  • CA / CS / LLB
  • 5+ years in compliance/legal drafting/policy documentation
  • Experience managing a team (min. 5 members)
  • Strong English drafting & documentation skills
  • Good understanding of AML, CDD, EDD, Sanctions, Risk Assessment, Screening
  • GCC/UAE compliance exposure (preferred)

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Big 4 / Consulting / Risk Advisory experience
  • GCC AML/Sanctions drafting experience
  • Familiarity with goAML
  • Certifications: CAMS / ICA / ISO 37301 / ISO 31000
