Role Overview

We seek a dynamic Sales Engineer for Biomedical Equipment who will drive business growth by identifying sourcing inquiries, building relationships with hospitals, and matching client needs with suitable medical instruments. The ideal candidate combines technical knowledge of biomedical equipment with proven sales expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:

● Generate leads and identify new business opportunities with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare institutions across India and international markets

● Conduct market research to understand client requirements for medical equipment, including X-ray systems, patient monitors, surgical instruments, and diagnostic equipment

● Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and presentations for potential clients

● Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective pipeline management

Technical Consultation:

● Provide expert guidance on medical equipment specifi cations, compliance requirements, and technical features

● Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to healthcare professionals

● Assist clients in selecting appropriate equipment based on their clinical and budgetary requirements

● Stay updated with the latest medical technology trends, regulatory standards (AERB, FDA, CE), and industry developments

Sourcing & Vendor Management:

● Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and manufacturers of medical equipment

● Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and service agreements with vendors

● Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance

● Build and maintain strong relationships with equipment manufacturers and distributors

Client Relationship Management:

● Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals

● Provide post-sale support, including installation coordination, training, and warranty management

● Handle client inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high customer satisfaction

● Maintain accurate records of client interactions using CRM systems

Required Qualifications

Education:

● Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering (preferred)

● OR Bachelor's/Diploma in Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering

● OR Life Sciences background with sales experience

Experience:

● 2-5 years of experience in medical equipment sales, preferably B2B

● Prior experience with hospitals, clinics, or healthcare institutions

● Knowledge of medical devices such as X-ray systems, patient monitors, surgical equipment, or diagnostic instruments

Technical Skills:

● Understanding of medical equipment specifi cations, regulatory compliance, and quality standards

● Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare industry practices

● Knowledge of AERB, FDA, CE marking, and other medical device regulations

Sales Skills:

● Proven track record of achieving sales targets

● Strong negotiation and presentation skills

● Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management

● Ability to prepare technical proposals and quotations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹40,000.00 per month
