The Sales Executive – E-Commerce will be responsible for managing and growing online sales channels for Gelatin, collagen peptides, and related products through B2B, B2C & D2C platforms. This role involves product listing, pricing, promotions, customer engagement, and order fulfilment coordination. The position will work closely with marketing teams to ensure seamless online sales operations and superior customer experience.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Education: MBA -Marketing or Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.

  2. Experience: 2–5 years in e-commerce sales, preferably in food ingredients, nutraceuticals, or allied industries.

  3. Knowledge of online marketplace operations, digital marketing basics, and e-commerce analytics tools.

  4. Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with e-commerce platforms and ERP systems is desirable.

Job Purpose - Roles & Responsibilities

E-Commerce Sales & Channel Management

  • Manage day-to-day operations of company's online sales channels (company website, WhatsApp, marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, 1mg, etc.).
  • Monitor product listings, pricing, and stock availability at channel warehouses
  • Drive online sales targets through effective product positioning and promotions.
  • Channel Expansion: Identify and unlock new potential channels of acquisition, staying ahead of industry trends and making recommendations for exploration and investment.

Product Listing & Content Management

  • Create and maintain accurate product listings with detailed descriptions, images, technical specifications, and certifications.
  • Coordinate with marketing for optimized content and SEO for online platforms.
  • Maintain high quality consumer experience in our online platforms

Demand Generation, Order Processing & Customer Service

  • Sales Demand Generation, Forecasting & Management
  • Ensure timely order processing, invoicing, and coordination with dispatch/logistics teams.
  • Handle online customer queries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and ratings on online platforms.

Digital Marketing & Promotion

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective social media strategies to drive brand growth, increase organic and paid reach, and improve return on advertising spend (ROAS).
  • Media Buying: Oversee and execute media buying on key platforms including Google, Meta, Amazon, Flipkart, etc ensuring optimal utilization of the budget.
  • Funnel Optimization: Understand the complete marketing funnel, initiate A/B tests, and make necessary changes to improve Click Through Rates (CTR) at each step of the funnel and overall Customer Acquisition Costs (CAC)
  • Content Execution: Lead the team from brainstorming to execution, creating compelling content across different social media channels that align with our brand identity and objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze campaign performance, leveraging data to provide insights and make necessary adjustments to strategy, as needed.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Track sales performance, customer behavior, and marketplace analytics.
  • Provide periodic sales and performance reports to management.
  • Identify growth opportunities in existing and new e-commerce channels.

Compliance & Coordination

  • Ensure all online content comply with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, Tech, and accounts) to ensure smooth operations

Budget : 6-7 lacs
