About the Role
This is a
full-stack business development and growth role
.
You will own everything from
client acquisition → client servicing → revenue growth → partnerships → YouTube integration
.
It's intense. High accountability. Zero hand-holding.
You'll work directly with an
IIT Delhi founding team
known for building and scaling in India's toughest markets.
Location:
On-ground, Gomti Nagar Vistar, Lucknow
(No remote excuses)
What You'll Be Responsible For
1. Client Acquisition (Your Primary Battlefield)
- Hunt, pitch, and close D2C, retail, and services brands.
- Build predictable pipelines: leads → calls → proposals → conversions.
- Own founder-level conversations and craft ROI-backed narratives.
- Position The Unfiltered Startup as the strategic growth partner, not a vendor.
2. Client Servicing & Revenue Scaling
- Work with the performance team to push clients beyond "good" to
scale mode
. - Interpret metrics: CAC, ROAS, CPM, CPP, LTV, AOV, CM.
- Identify upsell opportunities across funnels, content, ads, automation, and CRO.
- Prevent churn with strategy — not emotions.
3. Business Development & Partnerships
- Build new revenue verticals, venture partnerships, and cross-collaborations.
- Craft business decks + aggressive founder-grade BD pitches.
- Close partnerships with creators, SaaS tools, agencies, and brands.
- Convert market gaps into money.
4. YouTube Channel Integration
- Support research for case studies, financial breakdowns, and business stories.
- Convert viewers → leads using sharp hooks and funnel logic.
- Work with the content team to ensure videos drive authority + revenue.
Required Experience
You must meet these. Non-negotiable.
- 2–5 years
in Business Development, Performance Marketing, D2C Growth, or Founder-side roles. - Strong working knowledge of
Meta Ads
(no button-clicking needed, but you must understand scaling logic). - Deep understanding of
retail, distribution, business models, and D2C unit economics
. - Experience dealing directly with founders and decision-makers.
- Comfort with content, storytelling, and data — this role blends all three.
If you only have "sales experience," it's not enough.
If you only know ads but can't sell, it's not enough.
