Key Responsibilities]

  • Channel and Content SEO
  • Optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails for discoverability and higher search rankings.
  • Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify high-potential topics, trends, and content gaps.
  • Ensure best practices for playlists, video chapters, cards, and end screens to boost watch time and cross-promotion.
  • Performance Analysis
  • Track and analyze key analytics such as views, watch time, CTR, audience retention, and subscriber growth.
  • Generate regular performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Stay updated on algorithm changes and evolving YouTube optimization trends to ensure ongoing relevance.
  • Content Enhancement
  • Collaborate with internal teams (content, video editors, marketing) to maintain high-quality and consistent uploads.
  • Suggest improvements for video scripting, editing, and creative assets to drive better engagement and branding.
  • Community Engagement
  • Monitor comments, respond to queries, and encourage discussions on the channel to foster a positive community.
  • Proactively spot and flag issues or feedback that could help improve content quality or sentiment.
  • Quality Assurance
  • Review all final uploads for metadata accuracy, technical format compliance, and brand-aligned messaging before publishing.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed undergraduate/postgraduate studies in marketing, mass communication, digital media, or related fields.
  • Strong familiarity with YouTube, its features, and current best practices for channel optimization.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and analytics tools (YouTube Analytics, Google Trends, TubeBuddy, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; video scripting experience is a plus.
  • Creative minded with an eye for visual and content quality.
