About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented
Software Test Engineer (IV & V)
to join our
Avionics Software Testing
team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with
VxWorks, LDRA, and DO-178B/C processes
, ensuring the delivery of high-integrity software systems for aerospace applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform
    Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V)
    of embedded software components.
  • Execute
    requirement-based testing
    in compliance with
    DO-178B/C
    standards.
  • Develop and review
    test cases, procedures, and reports
    for safety-critical software.
  • Conduct
    structural coverage analysis (SCA)
    and
    code reviews
    using
    LDRA tools
    .
  • Perform
    integration, system, and regression testing
    on real-time embedded systems.
  • Work closely with development and quality teams to ensure test traceability and compliance.
  • Manage test environments on
    VxWorks
    and
    Linux-based platforms
    .
  • Prepare and maintain documentation aligned with
    aerospace regulatory standards
    .

Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience with
    VxWorks OS
  • Strong understanding of
    DO-178B/C life cycle
    and certification process
  • Proficiency in
    LDRA tool suite
    for static and dynamic code analysis
  • Good knowledge of
    Linux
    and scripting for automation/testing
  • Exposure to
    avionics or safety-critical domain projects
  • Strong
    debugging and analytical
    skills
  • Excellent
    communication and documentation
    skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with
    requirement traceability tools
    (e.g., DOORS, Polarion)
  • Familiarity with
    C/C++
    programming in embedded systems
  • Prior experience in
    Aerospace/Avionics IV&V projects
