Job Description : - Proven hands-on experience in manual and Test automation- Strong knowledge of quality best practices and methodologies for software testing- Experience with automation tools such as selenium, cypress, playwright, katalon studio etc- Manages a group of employees and helps the team achieve its goals effectively.- Experience in QA methodology, familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus- Familiarity with defect tracking tools, workflows, test case management tools, agile tools, and project tools,- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors- Working knowledge of test management software- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude, Strong organizational skills- Excellent written and oral communication skills, leadership skills, Organizational and time-management skills and ability to multi-task day-to-day activitiesResponsibilities :- Collaborate with Product team and other QA Engineers to develop effective strategies, test plans and use cases.- Execute test cases and analyze results. Evaluate product code according to specifications- Create logs to document testing phases and defects- Report defect to development teams- Help troubleshoot issues and document ever-evolving workflows and issue resolutions.- Conduct post-release or post-implementation testing- Comfortably run and read automated test scripts, own prioritization of use cases to be scripted, contribute to code reviews, write medium-high complexity test scripts independently- Serve as a point person for providing testing estimates and communicating test plan, report metrics and conduct reviews/audits to ensure that all project work and deliverables consistently meet Product Quality standards- Support and mentor other Software Test Engineers- Map business and technical requirements into test cases and/or test scripts- Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices- Data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities- Reporting team/project metrics (ref:hirist.tech)
