Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Tester (Automation) with 5+ years of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications through a mix of automated and manual testing. The role involves working closely with developers and stakeholders to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or Playwright.
  • Design and execute manual test cases based on functional specifications and user stories.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure code changes do not introduce new defects.
  • Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Participate in test planning, sprint discussions, and reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed test documentation and reports.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation (Selenium) and some manual testing exposure.

Technical Skills & Tools

  • Automation Tools: Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or UFT.
  • Languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Test Frameworks: JUnit, TestNG, or Cucumber.
  • Bug Tracking & Test Management: JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla.
  • Database & API Testing: Basic SQL queries and API validation.
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins (preferred).

Soft Skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt in dynamic project settings.
