Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Informatica Consultant to design, develop, and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and related tools. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, data architects, and developers to ensure accurate, efficient, and scalable data processing across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop ETL processes, mappings, workflows, and sessions using Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Cloud (IICS).
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to design effective data integration and migration solutions.
  • Work with data warehouses, data marts, and operational data stores (ODS).
  • Perform data validation, transformation, and cleansing to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Optimize ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and reusability.
  • Collaborate with data architects, DBAs, and business analysts to support enterprise data initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data or ETL-related issues in production and development environments.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and data flow diagrams.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance policies.
  • Support system upgrades, patching, and version migrations of Informatica tools.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3–8 years of experience as an Informatica Developer / Consultant.
  • Strong proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter (or Informatica Cloud / IICS).
  • Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, or Snowflake.
  • In-depth understanding of ETL concepts, data modeling, and data warehousing.
  • Experience in performance tuning of mappings and workflows.
  • Knowledge of job scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with Informatica MDM, Data Quality (IDQ), or Cloud Data Integration.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, or Google BigQuery).
  • Exposure to Python/Shell scripting for automation and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines for ETL deployment.
  • Understanding of data governance frameworks and metadata management
