Job Description Job Summary: The Informatica PowerCenter Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, and managing data integration workflows using Informatica PowerCenter. This role works with business and technical teams to ensure efficient, scalable, and secure ETL processes that support data warehousing and business intelligence initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows and mappings using Informatica PowerCenter - Analyze data requirements and source systems to develop efficient data integration solutions - Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various sources into data warehouses - Optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability - Work closely with business analysts, data modelers, and database teams to meet data requirements - Conduct unit testing, resolve defects, and support deployment activities - Monitor production jobs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely data availability - Document ETL processes, technical specifications, and data flow diagrams - Ensure adherence to data governance, quality, and security standards Required Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - 3+ years of experience working with Informatica PowerCenter - Strong expertise in ETL design, development, and performance tuning - Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and working with relational databases - Experience in data analysis, source-to-target mapping, and workflow management - Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices - Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: - Informatica, PowerCenter certification - Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Snowflake) - Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and metadata management tools - Experience in migrating or upgrading Informatica environments - Exposure to Agile project methodologies and DevOps tools
